beach cottage white flowers and life
Thu 18th, Feb, 2016
Hey, checking in from a cooler (but still very warm) day on the beaches of Sydney…
I thought I would share this gorgeous single white flower with you - I went out into the garden this afternoon after having to deal with a whole host of issues that had to be dealt with today…life sure is an interesting journey…all around me out there were trees laden with frangipani, bushes heaving with hibiscus, and though I have four English rose bushes out there now, which quite clearly, are flourishing and lots of newly planted hydrangea, there was not a single flower of that nature about the place.
I went down to the post box to get the mail by the gate, and there, tucked in behind some lavender was this one white flower (I planted a load of these back in the Spring and they’ve been pretty if small)…so thinking that a flower in the house always brings cheer I brought her in with me and popped her by the front door….
This vignette reminded me of when I first started in this little corner of the web, sharing white things and rambling on about, I dunno, life and stuff I guess….it’s been a ride…
