Happy Friday lovelies.

Another little beauty from my garden – this is from the Elderflower that I picked up at the garden centre from the reduced section (I often check this out, my garden centre seems to have a high turnover of plants and if they don’t sell quickly always has things 80% off – it’s a great way to add stuff to your garden if you are learning what works and what doesn’t like i am, without spending a fortune, plus it’s a really good way of finding new plants that you normally wouldn’t pick up).  I literally shoved it in the earth thinking it would die in the the heat, in fact it’s gone the other way, to be quite frank I have been madly cutting it back since it took off.

Adios.

great to do that sarah! … lucky to get that to grow! green thumbs there hun! … lovely! is that elder berry wine they make from those berries? … yes I think!
I did that when establishing this garden! bought up bits and pieces stuck in from my mother and stolen bits from gardens!;0 … even when she was dying with cancer we went to the botanical gardens and she pulled out a plastic bag and I asked her what was that for? … i’ll just help them to do some pruning! she said! … have to love that!
we started this garden from scratch, I mean nothing, zilch, niente! and now it looks very established, with large trees, shrubs, agypanthas etc it takes very little to keep it in shape now just pruning really! I even have a holly bush from my mother’s garden! green thumbs here too! sorry I’m raving and not spelling too well today! …
    love m:)X

As much as I love the gorgeous freezing weather here, I needed some summer today. I come to you for that. So thank you Sarah. xoxo

  4. Lovely! Elder flowers have been on my mind lately! I’m going to the garden centre soon, so I’ll see if I can find one. Happy weekend Sarah. xo
