Woah, it’s been a busy weekend here…very busy and interesting!

I did get in 4 hours or so of gardening, hands in the earth and nose in the fresh air, nothing better sometimes…if you Instagram with me you will know my English roses are blooming – I can’t tell you how lovely it is to go out there and come back in with blooms…I love taking photos of roses (or any flowers really) with layers and layers of petals….who would have thought a few years ago when I started this blog that taking photos would become a hobby ?

I thought you would like a look at these, they came out pretty well I reckon :)

Happy Monday, I’ll be back soon, I have a few lovely things to show you, let’s hope I get my work done and dusted and can get back into this little land of white, quilts and layered roses pretty quickly…

  7. Such beautiful subject matter(what are those lovely smaller flowers?) and you have such a keen eye! Have you ever done a post on photography? It is a blossoming love for me and I’d love to hear about your process and equipment!

Sarah there’s a fantastic rose nursery at 400 Galston Rd, Galston. I went there on Monday and bought three David Austins. The woman was so incredibly helpful, and I learnt so much from her. Well worth a visit! :)
