We were meant to be going away this weekend, life had other ideas so we stayed at home, it’s the start of the school holidays here and I just love that feeling – less schedules, less doing stuff, less running around…

Not going away didn’t stop us though and on Sunday we decided to do a little day trip to see what we could find, I’ve written before on here how it’s so good (for me and us) to get out and see what’s on the doorstep…so much to discover…

It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday…

…coastal air, a local ferry ride, good coffee, oyster farms, sunscreen, a picnic lunch, old railway towns, warm sunshine, strolling, baskets, pelicans…

I just love looking at the photos you post, particularly in the dead of a Canadian winter. I’m told the winter that is coming will be especially severe so just keep posting those lovely blue sky, white beach and blue-green water photos. I think we’ll need them to keep sane!

Hey Janet……hello from a fellow canuck!

Yep. Ol’ man winter is gonna dump on us this year….. Isn’t it nice we can sip our tea and travel to Oz when we are up to our eyeballs in snow….thanks to Sarah……

Beautiful. Where did you go? I can’t quite pick the location.

We recently caught the River Cat from Circular Quay to Parramatta. Lovely.

Today we did lunch at the Audley Dance Hall in The Royal National Park. In weather like today’s it was blissful.

  4. You can do this by ensuring they eat sufficient fruit and vegetables.
“Methylcobalamin is required for the function of the folate-dependent enzyme, methionine synthase. When you give your body a daily dose of these super foods it’s like renovating your body the way someone would renovate an old house that has seen better days.

Loved visiting today. Took the tour of your cottage. Anytime I see the words cottage and anything to do with the sea – I check it out. I live here on Lake Michigan in USA and I will say it is like an ocean – pretty big. This is where I garden. The gardens are nice – but honestly – it is the views of the lake that I capture and post on occasion that make this place so special. Happy to visit you today. Jack

I figure if I never actually make that very long (and expensive) flight to see your fabulous country, I’ll at least see most of it through your lens. Thanks for that. :)

  9. Helpful information. Fortunate me I discovered your
site by accident, and I am stunned why this twist of
fate didn’t happened earlier! I bookmarked it.
