G’day beautiful ladies of Beach Cottage Land, howdy, how are you?   Thanks for the new to me sofa love, too kind, you’ll be pleased to know I now have chair love to show you also and also new to me from the treasure gods, just need to remove the evidence that indeed three children and one sweetie little dog live in this house and I’ll be able to blog it…

Speaking of dogs…this guy is making friends with the sofa, which is why it is slip-covered, snoozing dogs on whites sofas need to be washable…right after I took those pics the other day out he ran to the garden chasing a rabbit, flew back in, ran across the sofa and there were lovely paw prints right there in front of my eyes…and yup I did think that is one reason the leather sofas were good, spray and wipe comes to mind…hey ho

I went to the farmer’s market this weekend on Sunday with a friend, we pottered around with coffee, a green kale juice and bought bits and bobs including my favourite hand-made fetta cheese from a little farm up the coast, some garlic all the way from Orange and some organic oranges and lemons from someone’s garden and going in my smoothies this week….how deliciously rustic do these look?  they taste ahhmazing…

I have been making lots of things on toast, and although I’ve been dabbling around with gluten free, I wrote about it on here and am definitely eating overall a LOT less than I used to, I cannot go past a good loaf though and hooray that I don’t need to….

Righty ho I will be off, I have some vintage finds on the way, the kitchen finally has had an electrician tending to its needs, I’m planning a laundry room makeover (one seriously big job to tackle it in there) and I’ve been doing lots of cooking to heal…

I’m in the middle of a laundry renovation. It’s hard not having a washing machine, but worse is the fact that our only toilet is being renovated too which means a portaloo in the driveway.

Hi Sarah, you have been on my mind today (chicken curry on menu here tonight) and when I was out walking this morning I saw those exact flowers and was tempted to ‘borrow’ a few for a jam jar here;)
A laundry reno with teenagers sounds difficult……I wash nearly every day !!Good luck with it.
Swedish daybed came into our house for a teenager to sleep on, in the kitchen, whilst we carry out a big reno of our bedroom/ensuite/study. Soooooo exciting !!Neen ;)

I recently went to the Orange farmers’ markets. It was inspiring to see food producers, like the spud man, who just oozed enormous love and pride about their produce.

PS A lot off-topic here… but I have noticed some really random comments lately in the blog. Do people somehow write a post and click Send All so all their contacts, including BC, receive it??

    • Sarah says:

it’s spam comments – I normally have a spam filter that catches them all (thousands of spam comments a week on this blog!) but some are getting through – basically businesses leave comments on here to drive traffic to their own websites and have their name on a high pr blog (not sure how it all works but that’s why they do it)…the not so nice side of blogging that readers don’t usually see – I’m looking into why it’s happening. :)))

  7. Sarah, I know an accident or something happened but not sure. I missed a few posts along the way somehow. What happened? Sounds as if things are coming along with you. God bless you all.

LOVE a good slip cover and great bread… and you. ;)

  9. I don’t have a white sofa… yet, but when I see the state of my white pants/shirts/t-shirt (I wear a lot of white) at the end of the day, I don’t know if a white sofa is such a good idea… I have dirty cat paws all over… It’s like they want the world to know I’m theirs!

I agree Alison, some strange random comments are appearing……..Neen
