Hey Beach Cottage lovelies, hope you are well, a little coastal corner from me, some beachy decorating and laid-back coastal vintage style.

It’s been a super lovely weekend here though it’s errring on the too hot with the weather getting up to the mid 30s on Sunday evening, I’m frantically wondering how it got to the temps starting to rise again and I haven’t gotten around to getting the big ceiling fans installed…slacker.   We had friends over for dinner on Saturday night, it was a gorgeous evening with lots of nice food, candles, roses and just easy casual entertaining…love that.

Here’s a little corner of our old cottage that was in need of some serious tidying up…this is a multi-tasking corner, often housing homework, dinner and crafty things and often at the same time…I like it neat and foofed but I’m old enough and ugly enough to know that with a family that doesn’t always happen…

So I take photos of it when it is how I like it for my blog.

Happy Days with or without a naked chef

I love the simplicity of your little cottage, and am hoping that one day we’ll be lucky enough to view pics of it from the outside. I’m sure it’s as gorgeous outside as it is inside! mwah Hx

How does Mr BC handle that random door to nowhere?? With raised eyebrows? Mr alison would just shake his head and walk away. Not that ever turns me off doing things.

he doesn’t care about decor – I think if I painted stuff bright pink he wouldn’t notice – it’s a good combo as I could spend all day foofing things around with doors to nowhere :-) x

I like the mix of chairs and the gingham cloth.
