a beautiful beach cottage white lighthouse trip
Thu 5th, Sep, 2013
oh hello beach cottage friends! How are you doing?
Ahh… from when we were away, beautiful, beautiful Northern New South Wales.
A quick trip to Byron Bay couldn’t really have gone much better….my gosh, blue skies, fresh fresh Spring air, a bright green hire car, no clouds, Australian sun, Asian salads on the beach, shell collecting, old train stations, ocean breezes, beach houses, sunsets. Sparkles on the water. Everywhere nature working her magic, sunscreen on shoulders, cotton gypsy skirts, naps on sun loungers, rolled up jeans, wind in the hair. Curled up with a book. Morning coffee with walking on the beach. Lunches in little Australian villages in the country. Walking around country-town markets. Listening to drummers on the beach. Searching for shells and pretty flowers.
And a stunning white lighthouse built in 1910 perched on the top of a cliff, just for me…
p.s it’s been a very very long time since there has been a Beach Cottage Fashion post but there is a Beach Cottage Fashion special going out in the newsletter this week and a sneek peak for club members of the deck, oh yeah!…if you’ve not subscribed you can do so below, but be quick because it’s going out soon :-)
