Helllooo, well let’s get back to pretty Beach Cottage things shall we?  No horrendously photo-shopped polka dots plastered all over this old cottage on the beaches this afternoon…I had to stroke the plain white walls of my sitting room last night to stop them weeping at the style debacle they suffered yesterday, ahem ahem ahem…. ;-)

So we’ve woken up to sunshine again, thank the lordy after a strangely windy day yesterday…and here I am today with some news!

Finally after lots of gathering and lots of asking from you lovely readers I’m starting to sell a few vintage things Beach Cottage style.

As you know I spend a considerable amount of my time vintage treasure hunting, it’s part of my life that started as a hobby when I was a mummy to littlies and took off on a Saturday morning for an hour to myself with a coffee, moved to being a great way to find unique furniture and bits and pieces for my old cottage with a bit of character and an Aussie coastal flare…

…and moved onto being my fave way to grab some down time – albeit meaning my house began to fill up and underneath it became like my very own beach cottage shop – ahem when I say shop the house sometimes on this little blog for a tablescape or makeover, often it’s literally, shop under the house.

So lots of people have been telling me for lots of time that I should offer up my wares and so here we are Beach Cottage Vintage Wares.

To keep it nice and casual a we’ll (I’ve got a beautiful girl helping me) just be popping a few things up on Facebook once a week or so (and there will be a page here on the blog too if you, you know, are so not a Facebook peep)…however you want to have a look there will be lots of lovely Beach Cottage things, sourced with love from the beaches – things I love and more things that will love your home.

Anyone for a vintage blue Mason Jar?

I’ve got lots of lovely pretty things ready to go – think old weathered oars, beautiful old boxes, vintage cutlery, sweet old jugs, original vintage ladders and lots more, did anyone say vintage fishing floats ;-)

…if you live in Sydney you’ll be able to stop by on the beaches and pick them up but there are also smaller favourite things that can wing themselves over the seas…

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s for grabs first up….I think you’ll like it, I know I do, I love all of these beauties – they are soooooo perfect for Beach Cottage Coastal Vintage style, not too beachy themed but great to pare with a nautical stripe or a few shells shells for a lovely coastal look with pieces weathered by the patina of time…oh yeah baby

Lookout on Facebook tomorrow evening Sydney time…
