Happy New Year Beach Cottage Lovelies!

Here’s to 2013!

It’s gonna be a good one, I can feel it in the water.

The time between Christmas and New Year has been so nice for me this year…I was determined to hang out and only to do things I really wanted to do…there was much lazing and hammocking and tea-drinking, book reading and English tv show watching…napping and the partaking of long long baths…I needed it and we are gearing up for a big year in this little family in more ways than one…

Thanks for all your kindness and reading along with us this year…

Love

Sarah, Barls and the BC Crew xo

Sarah, when the snow is falling as it is right now here in Colorado, all I need to do is open your blog and see your beautiful photos of Australia and the Beach Cottage, to get the “ahhhhh!” that I need! Happy New Year to you and yours, Down Under!

Vicki T, I’m with you…on the days that I am tired of the cold (fortunately not too many), I can pull up Sarah’s blog and enjoy the beach and ocean and loveliness that is Australia.

Happy New Year BC…thanks for everything! Much love from Colorado.

  3. Happy New Year to you – it is still 2012 here, but I am sure it is already tomorrow with you!

We are spending the night by the fire at the cottage, watching Harry Potter and the highlights of the Olympics.

  4. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, Sarah, in Down Under, from north of the equator (Canada)! We are still a few hours away from midnight. It’s 5:45 PM here. Our plans for this evening involve taking down the Christmas tree (I don’t like to wake up to a new year, with last year’s clutter), and playing cards. Although, I have to tell you, I would much rather be on your beach right about now! We just had a snowstorm 3 days ago, and got 10 inches of snow dumped on us. Then, we had another snowstorm yesterday, and got another 16 inches of the white stuff dumped on us! Now, can you understand why I would love to be on your beach right about now, lol?!

Haha but I like the sound of your snow! …though the beach is pretty nice too!

      Happy New Year xxx

“…in more ways than one…” You’ve got me hooked already!

I managed to see midnight fireworks out my bedroom window last night as I lay in bed and I knew that this year is going to be special.
